FuelLog

Make sure your performance vehicle is in top mechanical condition. Check whether maintenance jobs improved performance. FuelLog helps you track fuel consumption so you will know that your vehicle is at its best. If FuelLog shows that consumption has gone up, that gives you warning that maintenance is needed. And you save time at the gas pump. The convenient input screen makes data entry quick and easy.

FuelLog is a Palm PDA application. FuelLog records your fuel fillups and calculates the mileage. At each fillup, you enter the odometer reading and quantity. FuelLog is designed to accept data with a minimum of stylus taps, so it will actually get used, even when you are in a rush.

The calculated mileage (optionally MPG or KPL) is displayed immediately, and also saved for Hot-Sync to your PC Desktop for charting, backup, and export for whatever use.

The fuel quantity can be in Litres or U.S. Gallons, and the odometer reading can be in Kilometers or Miles. The mileage is displayed as K/L or MPG. The date of each fillup is automatically recorded.

Use FuelLog as a maintenance log. You can optionally jot down some notes at each fillup, such as "tire pressure corrected", "city", "highway", or "top-end overhaul, new valves". To access these notes, scroll the main display to a particular date, then click 'Note' button. In FuelLog Gold, use the PalmOS 'Find' tool to search for a word (i.e. 'valve').

FuelLog supports multiple vehicles. Use the popup menu at the top right of the screen to choose another vehicle. When you add a new vehicle to FuelLog, select 'miles' or 'kilometers' to indicate the odometer units of the vehicle.

FuelLog Gold will export data to Excel. FuelLog Fleet will be useful to a commercial fleet manager.
